See the link to the right regarding the SBNA Neighborhood Plan Committee's recent work on the Neighborhood Plan revision. This will be discussed and voted on during the January 2010 General Meeting.
Development in the Silver Beach Neighborhood is guided by the Silver Beach Neighborhood Plan as well as the City’s Silver Beach Ordinance (more formally know as the Lake Whatcom Reservoir Regulatory Chapter), the City’s Comprehensive Plan, and the City’s Land Use Development Code and the City's stormwater municipal chapter code. The Neighborhood plan is an advisory document that is currently being updated in a joint effort between the City and Silver Beach Neighbors. A committee of a wide diversity of neighbors has been working on the plan and will be presenting drafts at upcoming meetings. See the latest releases in the right panel of this page.
Links to the City’s ordinances, codes and plans can be found on “City Links’ page along with links to other city announcements and documents.
